I have used this two years in a row for my large flower beds that get over grown each spring with grass and mint. It twists out weeds easily and helps loosen the soil, and it is comfortable to hold even after using for long periods of time. I can't imagine trying to weed without this sturdy little tool!

I have the larger claw tool and bought this one to complete the set. It is great for tight areas and when the work need is small. Comfortable handle and works great in non-hard dirt. I recommend this tool for everyone's garden toolbox. Good value for the function it serves and time it saves on your hands pulling weeds and turning over the ground.

I bought this to get up some crabgrass that crept into my flower beds. It does not work for crabgrass. It is ok to dig up other types of weeds though.

It works well in a small area but would be inconvenient having to kneel for larger areas.

I haven't had this out in the garden yet, but I can already tell you this is just what I need to get those pesky dandelions up. This gadget looks sturdy and appears to be far more ergonomically sensible than trowels and all those other tools that make my wrists ache just thinking about them. I'll let you know after I tackle my WAY overgrown rose garden.
